Cheek-pieces help Ned to score
He is a bit of a trickster and the cheek-pieces helped him. Sometimes he concentrates and sometimes he doesn't. He is improving though, thanks be to God and he might go to Cheltenham for the Fred Winter. We'll see how he comes out of this first and whatever happens we'll mind him because he is still big and raw.
Mr Clyde glides in
He wants good ground and he is just a lovely lovely horse. He'll win nicer races than this hopefully. I'm delighted with him and for his owner, Alan MacAlister, who has ten horses with me - five or six of them in training. He is from Perth in Australia and a horse that I won a race with, Atacanta, is now standing out there. He won more races when he went to Australia.
Mills blows them away
A winners of two or a Graded race will be next for him.
Walsh forces Storm home
We'll keep him to those three mile races. He'll have a week off now and we'll go for something in three or four weeks. He has plenty of options from now on. I wouldn't be getting carried away though, the jockey won it for him.
Maxwell gets Macidoni home
A step-up in trip wouldn't do him any harm. We'll see what the handicapper does now.
Sharekan does it again at Fairyhouse
Millie comes good third time
Her run last time (5th behind Another Cliche) was very mediocre. We found no reason for that so it was very hard to be confident today. She is qualified for the final of this series in Sandown now and she could go there.
