Knock gets favourite backers off to perfect start
Alan gave him a good ride. I thought I had got chinned and I was glad to hear Dessie (Scahill) call him. I was due one of those to go right for me. If this weather keeps up we could keep him on the go. He is a lovely little horse and we just get what we can out of him. We might look for a winners of one for him now. Hopefully Noel O'Brien (the handicapper) isn't too hard on him. He disappointed at Limerick and ran too bad to be true. He had run a cracker at Gowran (on his debut).
One after another for Wilson
Style claims fortuitous win after drama at the last
You need a bit of luck every now and then. He was going to be a good third and I would have been delighted with that. He jumped well and Mark put him to sleep and he came into nicely. He was maybe done for toe coming down to the last. When he was left in front maybe he was there too long. He is the first horse I had for JP (McManus) after Captain Cee Bee and I always thought there was a good one in him someday. It's hard to know what the handicapper will do to him now. He was only going to be third so he should only get one or two pounds.
Mullins & Walsh gain compensation with Lambro
I brought him back in trip and I don't know if it was the quality of the race but he seemed to like it. On his hurdles form I thought he wanted a trip. I might experiment more with him now and even go back to 2m with him. His jumping is so sharp. I don't know if there is much more for him now.
Coleman wins his own race with Un Hinged
That was fantastic for a 12yo, he hasn't seen a fence for a while but he jumped like a buck. Casey gave him a perfect ride, identical to the ride he gave him at Fairyhouse last year.

Mullins doubles up as Man takes the bumper
I told Luke (winning owner Luke McMahon) that we wouldn't leave it as late as Uncle Junior (in the same ownership as the winner).
