Dreaper off the mark with Master
Robin proves the boss for Barron
He had won two point to points and is a tough horse. He is big, loves that ground and will run on the track (in handicap chases) eventually,. His two point to point wins were in Comea (local track) which was a big thing as his owners Aidan and Susan Archdeacon are from Fethard and are good friends of ours for years. We're having great fun with the horse, we'll tip away and go to Cork during Easter for a winners' of one hunters chase.

Milan strikes again at Thurles
She was always running some kind of races but was never finishing out and needs to get things her own way,. We never miss a day with her at home but I suppose she has struck real fitness and strength. We moved yards recently and have our own well water now which might be the small thing that has made the big thing. She has two strides instead of one when the ground isn't right for her and needs it perfect and to go her own way. I'm delighted for Liam McKenna. The first time I bumped into the (Leave Him Alone) syndicate was when I won on a horse called Homer for Gerry Cully in a Guide Dogs Charity Race at Mallow a long time ago now. It was about 40 or 50 years ago and I was like John Wayne when I won!
Diva wins in dramatic style
He had a few nice runs in point to points two years ago but got a little bit of trouble so we left him off. He has improved with every run since and was tough today. It didn't look likely but he stayed at it well,. I suppose we'll keep going while the ground is like this and he'll definitely go over fences next year. He is a chaser in the making. There are six or seven lads - all from Tipperary, involved including my brother Paul.
Romeo comes good for McCaldin
Blaze battles gamely to land bumper
I like him, he had a lovely run the first day and is a half-brother to a good horse (Grade 2 winner Enniscoffey Oscar),. I'm delighted with him and for the lads (Brian and Tom Groarke, part owners) who are from Meath. I'd say we'll wait to go hurdling until next season and might go for a winners' bumper. We'll talk to the boys and see what they want to do but he'll be a grand horse over a hurdle and has plenty size to jump a fence. He battled well and is a saleable horse.
