Gigginstown at double with Roaring Bull
He was a big baby last year and hadn't been showing us much at home and that's the reason he was a big price on debut. He is still a big baby and will be a nice horse for next year.
Relief as Fahy wins with No Pressure Pat
I bought him off Martin Cullinane when he was injured and I took a chance with him and all my buddies (Havin' The Craic Syndicate) bought him. That's how he got his name as they were saying 'there's no pressure on you now!'. I ran him in a bumper first-time out and I thought he would have known his job but he was a disgrace in Thurles and was was very green on his first run back. I never bring him away to work him because his legs aren't the best and we did as much as we could with him at home. He's a full brother to Tully East and you can't beat breeding. It was his first time at three miles today and he just loved that ground. I hope he stays sound now and we'll have more craic with him. Cillian is with me a year, that's his second winner for me and he is riding with much more confidence now.
Death Duty makes winning chase debut
that’s job done. You get messy races like that but he never came out of second gear. He (Russell) said he was so brave the whole way, he was trying to get him to pop. He said going down to the last, I didn’t want to give him a kick going down to it as he could turn upside down, so he said ‘I had to sit and get in close’. He is a very good horse and the one thing he has to be, to be a champion is he has heart. He could have got beat there when he made the mistake but to be a champion you have to have the heart. He has won over 2m4f last year and I’d imagine we’ll find one more race and then the Drinmore, all being well. If he went down and winged the last, he’d have won six or seven lengths on the bridle but he could do no more than what he did.

Crocodile Dundee gives Cooper two on card
Very few horses win a maiden hurdle and then a handicap chase on their next start! . There was plenty pace on today, which suited and he is a super jumper and will go for something similar next. He along with Billy De Kid (a winner at Clonmel last week) got a bad dose of a virus three years ago, so we've been waiting a long time for him.
Elliott hits treble through newcomer Legacy
He is a fair horse, I'd say he is a good horse because I only have him a month and I thought for one of mine he looked fat. I bet he'll be alright and I'd say he's a horse who is going to do plenty and definitely be okay. Alan Harte, his owner from London, sent him to me a month ago and I think he was big and backward and never got to run in a point to point. The way he has done that, he has to be okay and he'll go for a maiden hurdle next. He's a big three-mile chaser in the making.
