Favori Logique off the mark in Roscommon
He's been knocking on the door and he deserved his turn as he's been a very consistent horse. The boys bought into him on his second last run. They are local lads to me, from Wicklow and Kildare. He was second the last day and won today. It's great for Shane, who works for Ted (Walsh) and gave him a great ride. He's a horse that has a mark over fences as well and will be a right fun horse. He has plenty of options. Once or twice he disappointed us on heavy ground and I'd say we wouldn't go back to that. His form in winter maiden hurdles was very good and it's great he got his turn.
Fill The Tank stays on best under McDonagh
The ground was the key. When he ran in Tipperary last time they were calling it yielding but they over watered it,. We had another horse that was favourite that day, and we were expecting her to run well, but she pulled up distressed. For the size of him you'd think he would like heavy ground but he seems to perform on this kind of ground. He is what is he. He'll go back over fences next time. Once we get him going and get him fit we don't do too much at home after that.
Hourigan keeps grandchildren happy with Icee M B A
She always showed a bit and she should have won a point-to-point last year when unseating,. It was nice ground that day in Boulta and the ground is the key to her. I decided I'd go during the summer with her and she's been good. Her jumping is very good, she's brilliant, and she has a great head on her. She's bred to win an Oaks but she cost nothing. I bought two fillies at the sales the same day for peanuts and I said I'd give them to the grandchildren. She's named after the seven grandchildren I had at the time, that's the initials of them all. I'd like to be at home now to hear them roaring at the television!

Glenquin Castle comes to boil for Brassil
He's one of these slow burner horses. He'd show you a bit more at home than he does at the races,. We were getting a bit frustrated with him and that's why we put headgear on. It's probably his first time on really nice ground and on a level track where he was able to travel away more at his ease. Mark said he travelled better today than he ever did and maybe it was the fact that we rode him a little bit differently. All he does is stay. For a fine big horse by Getaway, he wants nice ground. We'll see if there is another suitable race for him like that.
