Taaffe off the mark for the Hays
that's only our second runner for Jim and Fitri Hay and we're absolutely delighted to get a winner for them. We'll take it one step at a time with Distant Memories and may go to Naas at the end of next month for a novice hurdle.
Tillahow bounces back to form
Unique Really easy winner in Limerick
He'll probably go to Tramore now (entered in a 2m 5f Handicap Hurdle on New Year's Day). He stays well and Limerick has been a lucky place for us.
Third Christmas win at Limerick for Satwa
We have been waiting a while for this even though he won this race twice in the past. He really likes it here but I was afraid of the tacky ground. If he comes out of this ok he will come back here for a 2m 2f Handicap Hurdle on Thursday.
Super Seabass makes it five in-a-row
He was No 9 on the ballot to get into the Paddy Power at Leopardstown but he didn't make it so we decided to come here for this good pot. He did it well and I not sure what the plan is for him now.
Count Salazar keeps favourite backers happy
He is tough. He was very impressive when he won at Ballindenisk last time out and he will go for a winners Hunter Chase at Gowran next. We will probably stay down that route with him. He jumps great and he just missed the second last where he was lucky not to fall.
Double for Katie as Hidden lands gamble
She's a lovely mare but was almost given away at one stage but thankfully the lads held on to her. She pulled a hamstring on her first run at Punchestown but then ran a good race at Cork last time out. I thought she would come on from that and she did. She is a very good looking mare and it probably wasn't the strongest of races today but she did it well.
