Rendezvous takes a Ballinrobe step back towards Galway
I’d suppose he sharpened as the race went on (jumping-wise) and it’s nice to get him back to winning ways,. He had a very good run in Galway last year (2nd in the Plate) and you could imagine he might chart a plan towards then. It’s nice to get the winner and I’d suppose Willie will see what he wants to do with him now.
World adds to point-to-point win with Ballinrobe success
I’m very happy and the ground suited him,. Conor said he had a nice run the last time and that he just got tired. He put it all in today. He got a little bit lazy in front but he won and I’m delighted for the owner.
Mullins at double on Julies Stowaway
He was probably a lad we thought would be on grass at this point but he’s won on good ground and the fact that the rain fell we decided to keep in and have a go here and it’s paid off. He’s tough and his winter form is good so you’d be hoping for performances like that.

Super-sub Enright takes Mayo National on Agent Boru
I got a phone call to say he (Ricky Doyle - got fall earlier on the card) was sore and that he wouldn't be riding,. It’s just brilliant though. When you feel like it’s not going to go your way and then suddenly it does. The owners have been great — for a syndicate in particular — they’ve been very patient. He absolutely lost his way for two years. He had a condition called kissing spines — I just wasn’t aware of it for a long time. When we did finally discover that he’s been like a new horse. It took time for him to get his confidence back but this season he really has and he’s just going from strength to strength again. He’s tiny and though he’s a real stayer I was thinking today going to the last - just how well will you stay, but he did.
