Way holds off Bell in 2013 opener
He is owned by Doctor Alex Stafford who is a great owner. I am delighted he won as he had a few quid on him today. We will take it handy with him now and go for a winners of one. It's great to be the leading trainer in the country for 2013!
Shesonlyahorse wins for Enright & McDonagh
She won handy enough there. We will probably run her in one more hurdle race and then go back over fences.
Milborough scores despite long absence
He won it well and he will probably go for a handicap now. He has been off the track for a while with pulled muscles in his back. He stays well and I think he will improve from this run.
Lookoutnow does it with ease
On form he was entitled to win. He is well in over hurdles compared to his chase mark (117 to 102). He might for for a handicap chase now at Gowran on Thyestes Day.

Desert puts Moore on a High
Tim came to me in October and said he'd had a runner with me every year for the past 40 years but he didn't have anything for this season. I even trained winners for him under my father's name before I got a licence. I sold him this fellow after he won his maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse in November, and I'm delighted as Tim is such a great friend as well as a great supporter. This horse is a bit delicate and needs space between his races, so he won't run now until the middle of February.
Double for Butler as Preswell takes the last
I don't know too much about him as I only have him about a month. I was told he needed better ground and it's a bit of a nice surprise. The winning syndicate (the Light Syndicate) are from Kilkenny.
