Another for Mag & Danny as King scores
I'm delighted with that. He was a bit green the last day and again today but he did it well. The plan was to sit second or third but nobody wanted to make it. He will have learned a lot from making it. We will see how he comes out of this and it's great for his owners, Antoinette, Michael and Pierce. They have had a great week.
Annie beats Queen in Mares Maiden Hurdle
Oscar outstays rivals in style
He goes on that very heavy ground . very few do,. There might be another one in him. He can run over fences as well as he's won a chase. When horses get to this age they improve for a change of scene . get a new lease of life. He was never really on it (bridle) but goes in that heavy ground and just keeps going while the others stopped.
Dial shows his Speed close home
I'm delighted with that. He went to the north with 11-11 on his back and that steadied him up a bit. He made a bit of a mistake three out there and the ground was a lot worse there. He quickened great today and I said to Tim beforehand that he has more speed than these and that you know where the winning post is. He didn't really jump until three out, he was just popping away.
Leader wins on chasing debut
First winner for O'Leary aboard Tarquinius
It wasn't ideal running him back in three days but he was due to go up twelve pounds. We took seven pounds off with the young fella and he is a good young rider. That is his first winner on the track. If he sneaks in off bottom weight we might let him take his chance in the Thyestes. He is as slow as a hearse but he stays galloping.
Cheap buy Chimes takes the bumper
He ran here the last day and he hadn't done much and we were happy with him. It was a fact finding mission. He is still very unfurnished and he'll make a lovely chaser down the road. We will be easy on him for the rest of the season and maybe give him one run over hurdles. He will be a lovely novice hurdler next season and he is one to look forward too.
