Earths Furies bags another Limerick success
I said I'd make use of his hurdle mark and the race and trip suited him. It is seldom you'd meet everything right. He won here over Christmas and maybe I shouldn't have run the second day but he loves this place and handles it well. I fancied him today but the favourite Donnrua Dream did me with Kingston Kid over Christmas so I was afraid of him. He'll go back chasing now and we'll find similar events for him. He is a lovely horse to have and I'm delighted for the owner Gerard O'Sullivan, who hasn't seen the horse. He also owns It Came To Pass and hasn't been well.
Rock Of Tuskar strong at the business end
'Outpaced' was some of the comments for him over three miles and at Wexford he tried to make it and made a few mistakes. It was a consistent pace today and he jumped well. We were looking for a 0-95 handicap chase for him but there was nothing coming up. That's gone now but it is great to win another race with him. He has a narrow make-up to him so hopefully he might strengthen up more and there may be more handicaps in him. It is great for the Cross Of Kilrane Syndicate who are mostly from St Mary's GAA Club in Rosslare.
Callaghan makes most of his opportunity
The mare travelled everywhere, jumped savage and I was just coming to join Jack (Foley on La Prima Donna) at the second last. Unlucky for him he went down at the second last. I thought I had loads of mare so it would have been a good battle to the line if his mare stood up. I gave my filly a slap down the shoulder turning in and she was very fast to go and join La Prima Donna to the second last. I was delighted to get the ride on her and I knew I wasn't going to be too far away. I gave her a school yesterday morning. I'm from Co Carlow, five minutes from Willie. I started off in James Barcoe's and from there I went to Willie's. I'm there about two and a half years. It is a brilliant experience to be there learning every day and riding top horses and riding with top jockeys. You couldn't be in a better place. I'm in Willie's full-time for two and a half years and turned conditional three weeks ago and would take outside rides.

Springfield Lodge grabs her first hurdle victory
On her her chase form she had a reasonable mark and Jordan was a great help. She'll go for something similar next over hurdles and then there's a mares' handicap chase at Navan at the start of next month for her.
Well-supported Derridae brings up Gainford's brace
She ran well at Navan (last June) but then got sick. I've been waiting a long time for this!. I'm sorry the owner (Michael Hanrahan) is not here because he is not feeling well. Fair dues to him, he has stayed with me. He's a gentleman. She worked well during the week for us.
Feeney secures first racecourse winner on 'gorgeous horse'
I'm with John (Murphy) six morning a week and love it - there are a lot of nice young horses there and this is a gorgeous horse. He ran a cracker the first day at Punchestown and was tough today. He'll be a very nice horse. He had a very good first run in a race where the form worked out very well - there are a few very nice horses after coming out of it. He was tough there as the ground was a bit sticky for what he'd like, and he had to come wide and make up plenty ground. His class got him through in the end. He'll come forward from that run and we wouldn't be afraid to go for a bigger race with him - we'll definitely think about an entry in the Cheltenham bumper but will make a plan closer. He could be sold but we think he is a very good horse.
