It's good to get the win before the season is over. He's a possibility to go to Punchestown now for the three miler as there is nothing else for him. It's all a bonus as he's a chaser in the making. He can be a bit awkward over his hurdles but he's a very good jumper. In a better race with a better gallop it should suit him. He was in front too long in Cork (when second on his previous run, over three miles) and today was a different story as he travelled there and did it well. It didn't look the best of races but he did all he could do. I've an uncle that rides him at home at the age of 69 . he's lazy at home. I think he'll make a lovely staying chaser. He's been a good wedding present. My uncle Dick gave him to us as a three-year-old.

He stayed on well. The ground is as quick as he'd want it to be. That's his first run for us and we've had him four or five months. He'll keep on the go but if the ground got too firm he wouldn't run. He might want a bit further as well.

We thought he'd run well. I'm delighted, it's nice to get it and it'll pay a few bills. We always knew he was going to stay and he was in brilliant form.
Toner back in the winning groove
He's a long time waiting to win a race. We thought he'd win at Cheltenham two years ago but he got beat. Now that he's got his head in front we'll keep him going in summer novices,.
Shark's Mart enjoys the better ground
That's lovely. He jumped a lot better today than the last day. He's a lovely fun horse . he's not over-big. We thought he was going to be a right horse in bumpers. He's a full-brother to Western Leader so the family have been lucky for me. My horses are flying again on the good ground . I have no horses for soft ground.

He won a point-to-point three years ago. He got a leg then and he's just been struggling on the heavy stuff.
Mulhern has a smart one in Swords
He's an exceptional horse at home. We were hoping for a bit of softer ground but he handled that. He did exactly what we were hoping he'd do. We've only two in training and if someone comes to buy him he'll be sold.
