Diophas cruises home in Cork opener
I had no intention of go back hurdling with him until this meeting appeared,. When I seen a six-year-old plus hurdle I said we'd take our chance and I'm glad I did. Looking at that today I'm sorry I didn't put him in the Pierse Hurdle. I don't know where he'll go next. He nearly looks to be a better chaser and took to it quite well the last day.
Morning proves Supreme in mares hurdle
I was waiting for this race for ages. It was cancelled once or twice,. I'll try and find a similar race for her. Christmas might be a bit soon as she's a bit hard on herself. We might keep her down the country. We'll look at the end of Limerick or the New Year.
McNamaras team up with Trix
He'll go to Limerick at Christmas. He'll jump a fence in time and is a nice horse. He'll improve a lot as he was a backward horse,. I ran him over two miles on good ground and thought he wanted further but his last two runs over two-and-a-half in heavy ground was too far. Although I say he'd get it on good ground.
Days fights well to edge battle
I didn't think he would be good enough but he's improved since the last day,. He's a nice horse but I didn't think he'd beat the five-year-olds, I thought he wouldn't be quick enough. He wants a distance anyway and will be a three-mile chaser in time. If he won another hurdle I'd be happy.
Knockieran leaves it late as Russell picks up ban
She'll have a little break now as she's after having a few runs recently,. We'll bring her back in the New Year. She'll stay handicappping. She's only a small little mare and it wouldn't be fair to take on a fence with her.
Dove proves hardy in bumper
She's tough and probably wouldn't have liked it quite as heavy as that,. She's a progressive filly and is improving and improving. She'll go jumping a hurdle now. She's more of a chaser in build as she's very very big.
