McCreery debutant causes upset in Fillies Maiden
She's a lovely filly. I brought her up here a couple of weeks ago just to see if she would like the surface. I thought it was a nice opportunity to start her off until I saw Ashwiyaa in it and I was a bit worried. She does everything professionally and is a lovely, straightforward filly. She has been a no-nonsense filly, loves being in training and does everything very easily. She's a good-moving filly and I think better ground suits her. She flicks over that top of the ground. I was nearly going to enter her for the race on Saturday, the five furlong Listed race up the Curragh, but I thought it could be a bit greedy or something. We will see what the lads want to do. We are in no hurry with her, she has done the job and we will see what is available. She would be for sale. She would be an ideal one for America, I'd say, the way she settled.

Punk Poet avails of class drop to register fourth Dundalk success
It has been a while since he has been that low (64) and unfortunately he beat an 11-year-old and there was eight lengths back to a three-year-old, so he probably won't be that low again for a while!. He got the job done but what you would worry about now is that instead of going up a bit, he could go up a lot. Handicappers go on distances. It is nice to get his head in front and Aileen loves the old horse. He enjoys here and that's his fourth over that trip here.
Five at Dundalk for McGuinness's Skontonovski
He has been running solid away there all year and he wanted a bit of good ground, and we hadn't been getting it the last six weeks. Ronan was class on him there today, he was drawn 13. The pace is not breaking down today, they are being there all the way. The top three were there all the way. Yeah he will (get a good stint over the winter series in Dundalk), we will try and win with him again. When you have a horse like him, the handicapper stops him for a while and then you have to wait, but he is a sure-fire winner every year.
Longbourn holds on to win "Red God" for Ross O'Sullivan
Absolutely brilliant. We just said it is swings and roundabouts - in the last week we were standing in Naas and got beat a short head with a different horse (Turbulence) and this week we win by a short head. That's the rollercoaster!. He's a horse that we have got great sport out of in the last couple of years, he brought us to Bahrain last year, and he is so consistent. It is great to have him and to win a big pot like that today is unbelievable. Amanda (Torrens, owner) is a great supporter of the yard and a great help. We had six seconds in the last two weeks and as much as Katie (Walsh, wife) says 'Cop on, they are running well', it can be frustrating. You just need to be keeping the show on the road and a winner is everything. He is rated 88 and he will be up a few pound again today, he can run in those handicaps (at Irish Champions Festival).
French Company brings up Dundalk hat-trick in finale
He's a right little horse, he's after winning four. He has won three up here for us. He has won well and it was great. A good man on his back and that is his first ride for me, he is well able to horseback. Fair play to him. He will of course have a stint up here over the winter.
