10 days for Townend as Conduct prevails
I'm very pleased with that and it's overdue,. We were at home, and if it was a long journey we wouldn't have run her again so soon.
Ring gets it tactically right on Eric
We had a lot of seconds this summer, but we've had our few winners and we are having a good start to the season,. We had a long hard year last year but Carol Hogan and Eric Newnham are two very good supporters (Eric The Third's owners). Eric lives in London and that's why he's not here, and Carol was ill for the last few days but is back to work today trying to make up for lost time. He will keep going while the ground is good, but when it gets soft he'll get a holiday. Eric and Carol lost Lunch Master at Listowel so it's lovely that this lad won today.
Busy Bach at Tramore for more glory
I think she is after running eighteen times since the end of March and only three times she didn't bring home money. Place money keeps the bills paid,.
Townend bounces back with a winner
He jumped very well on the last circuit and I think that is what kept him in it. When he needed a good jump to get there, he got it. He was good and brave at the last and Paul gave him a brilliant ride,. I suppose I knew off his last run that he was in good form coming here and that he would improve from his last run. That was his first run over fences but he had been schooling very well at home. We put in a new all-weather gallop at home and I think that is making a difference to our horses. It showed in him, in his fitness and that. I don't know where he'll go next, we'll see what Mr O'Brien (handicapper) has to say about it. Watching him finishing out he looks like a horse that wants further. He was probably a bit outpaced coming down the hill the last time, but he got a couple of good jumps then and saw it out well. He'll go up in trip.
