McNamara wins opener at Clonmel
This is my 2nd season training and I have about dozen horses in training, mainly point to pointers. This mare has been off the track since June and she'll stick to similar mare's races.
Hurricane Carter scores for O'Leary
He's a giant of a horse, even though he is a 9 year old he still has some growing to do. We want to have him for awhile so he will only have another 2 or 3 runs this season. There is a 3 mile novice race Sunday week at Navan that he may go for.
Morris/Madden continue their good run
We were baffled by his run at Limerick over Christmas, he ran like a dead horse but he carried him well here today. We will go for a winners of one with him next but he's really a chaser.
O'Grady Having A Cut
If he can win another I'd be happy. I was very disappointed with him in the north the last day but I put a tongue tie on him today and that may have helped. We will probably run him again at Fairyhouse in a few weeks time and see where to go from there.
