.We thought he'd win at Dromahane last time but he was beaten by a newcomer and it looked a good race,. We've always thought a lot of him. He was also second at Ballindenisk and the horse that was third then won by 20 lengths on Sunday.
Moving back on top
That was his 99th run today,. He loves being handy and doesn't like to be crowded in his races. He'll get a holiday now for a couple of months . I think he deserves it.

Briar makes impression in bumper
He hadn't shown me anything until he worked the other day,. He's probably the type to show more on the track and that's a good sign in a horse. We haven't decided whether or not he'll go over hurdles but I'd imagine after that he'd be good enough for a winners bumper. A step up in trip would probably do him no harm either and on his pedigree he'd probably prefer better ground too.
