Nicolls wins on debut for Tony & Danny
He can be a little excitable and I thought an education over hurdles would be great for him. He has serious ability but I just thought he mightn't be man enough for today. He has a future and thought today would teach him a bit and he would go back for a bumper but that is scuppered now. I'm delighted to get the win though and he is a horse of natural ability. He definitely handles good ground but we're not sure and can't say if he'll handle soft ground yet. Danny is riding fantastically well at the moment.

Trade Marked gets back on track for Leahy
He ran poorly on the Flat at Listowel but that was on heavy and the better ground suited today. I’ve no plans at the moment but he may go back on the Flat and could run at Dundalk.
Prince proves a thorn in the side of bookies
He'll go for another three miles handicap hurdle while he is in that frame of mind. He had been hard to get right but is a good jumper and has already been over the cross-country course at Punchestown.

Mullins partners 74/1 double on Dark Outsider
He has been hitting the crossbar and has been unlucky more than anything else up to now. He is owned by a great bunch of lads who love their racing but weren't able to come today. They're a three member syndicate from Crosshaven and the girl leading him up, Jenny O'Brien, her father John is a member. He'll stay chasing next.
Coolmen Hill takes bumper in impressive style
Jamie said that he probably isn't a soft ground horse, and to be careful what we do with him now. We were unsure whether the bumper route was right as he is very big and scopey, and his future is over fences. I don't think we'll run him again until the spring and probably won't do a lot with him until then.
