I'm delighted for Jimmy (winning owner Jimmy McCarthy who is from Carrigtwohill). He bred him and he has persevered with him. We got a glimmer of hope with him last year but he then disappointed. Chasing seems to have made a big difference and he jumps so well. He did launch at the first but he was lucky and found a leg. He did it very well. I was telling Jimmy that he is a two-miler, but Jimmy said two and a half miles, so he was spot on.

He has never been on grass and he has never been away from home, but he had being showing us so much at home. He has so much speed but he didn't really know what to do when he got to the front. He jumps really well and I think he is the first jumps winner in Ireland for Scorpion.
