Jit Langy looks another useful French recruit for Mullins
He’s a nice type and a nice novice for this season. We’ll see how he comes out of that before deciding whether we stay going or put him away for the winter. He’s a natural jumper and is one to look forward to.
Lady Of The Vale delights Slattery over minimum trip
I think she’ll be better over further and she’ll improve from the run. I know she ran in Cork, but I think she’ll improve from that again. She won a bumper last year but her work is better this year. Hopefully she’ll go on and she should get a reasonable handicap mark. She has a good attitude and even in her bumpers she would always battle back. She is bred to stay three miles so it’s a bonus to win over two miles. She’ll tip away over the summer. She’s owned by the Nevilles from Charleville.
O'Callaghan drives Hi Ski home
She was a little unlucky a couple of times as she was second in Limerick and may have won there a couple of runs back when she unseated at the second last. She had snippets of form and entitled to win something, but when it was going to happen I didn’t know,. Unfortunately, the owners are not here as they had to go to a funeral and they bred her as well. They have all the family, so it is an important win. She enjoyed it in front and jumped great. She didn’t get hassled for the lead and was in a comfortable position. She will tip away for the summer and might jump a fence some time.
Collins & O'Regan successfully team up again with well-backed Fiveonefive
He’s a nice horse that lad. His first run was behind A Dream To Share but he just lost his way. I think he’s just a big, weak horse and it took him a bit of time to get going. We treated him for a few issues and he’s come back after a good break showing plenty of ability. He likes that good ground and Denis gave him a peach. I bought him for €1,500 two years ago and he has two lovely owners Tony (Lagan) and Salvo (Giannini). He could run in the likes of Killarney and Galway over the summer.

Mullins fires in treble through Readin Tommy Wrong
He’s a winter horse that just got held up, so we said we’d get him out twice. I’d imagine he will be put away now and I think he will make a good novice hurdler next year.
