Down Royal announcer welcomes her winner
I ran him in a point-to-point where Noel McParlan rode him and he lost his action but he came in and said 'that horse will win his fourth or fifth (run)'. We ran him in a bumper and he ran okay behind Paul Nolan's horse (Sandor Clegane) and for a backward horse he ran nicely here the last day. He got a bit of a break over Christmas and came back and won a schooling hurdle. I said to Gavin (Brouder, winning jockey) to get him into a rhythm and it was a pleasant surprise as I didn't think he would be good enough to win that today. I think he'll go on any ground. He has a nice bit of pace and jumps and stays. He might be a horse for Perth as Pamela likes to go there for a day or two. We'll keep him in a low grade if we can and see where we go.

Wild Hunt wins for holidaying owners
it was a tactical race, we went steady and I had to get into it sooner than ideal. When I got there, I had to send him on because I knew Phillip (Enright on Womalko) was going to be tailing me. I never had him down for a quick horse but he changed gear there down the hill when we were fairly winging it. I nearly swerved here to go to Thurles as I thought the ground would be too quick in Thurles so it worked out well. He is progressive and is a chaser in the making, he's a massive horse. I have him in Cork next week in a 0-130 handicap - I'm suspended myself but we will see what the handicapper does. The boys (owner James McAuley and co) are away in Vegas and it is nice to get another winner for them.
Fourth win for Fenton's Stand Off
he's had a few problems and that is why he is lightly raced. He missed Christmas but let's hope he can make up for lost time. He was rated 125 over hurdles and seems like a horse that was going to make a better chaser. He's a fine horse and there should be a bit of improvement to come from him. Fairyhouse or Punchestown could be a possibility. He's learning his trade and he learned a good bit today. He might not end at Punchestown, we might keep him on the go for a bit longer.
Defeat for Samcro as broadcasters double-up
this lad was third in the Grande Steeple-Chase de Paris and was bought for the Grand National. That's what the owners want but he's not going to get in this year, although hopefully he will next year. He'll go for the Topham Chase next.
