Presenting Lad records back-to-backs wins with battling display
He was busy for a period last year and it didn't seem to bother him either. That's his third run in around 23 days. I was a bit apprehensive about the close proximity of each run but the entry for this was small and it was worth a chance. He loves that ground and Phillip was exceptional on him. He was to go to Downpatrick for a race rated up to 116 but he might be too high for that now unless the handicapper leaves him. He only won by a neck so in theory he shouldn't give him anything.
Clifftop lands unlikely success under never say die Buckley ride
I have to say Kieren was very good on him because he didn't travel. He didn't jump the way he normally jumps, it probably came a bit quick after Wexford. I have to hand it to Kieren, he won the race. He was the last one to get into it and it worked out. The horse deserved it, he has been knocking on the door and he'll get a little break now.

Rauzan makes light of drop back in trip to complete four-timer
The trip was too short for him. He was behind the bridle the whole way, just struggling to hold his position. He(Hugh Horgan) said once he pulled him out wide he just locked onto it and once he met the rising ground he just went away from them. Probably two-and-a-half-miles is his optimum trip. Sure I mean four on the bounce, he is a grand little horse. He is in again on the flat on Saturday over two miles so we will see how he is. Hopefully he might take his chance again. It's great for Hugh, he gave him a great ride. He is coming in there now giving me a hand. Good solid rider so it's great. I own him myself and my mother. It's great to get a winner at the local track. He is progressive so we might look at something like the Lartigue in Listowel or something like that.

Cruisin Susan defies a penalty to win second race within a week
There wasn't a bother on her after Wexford, you would even know she'd ran. She loves passing horses and has to be rode on the outside as she doesn't like horses in around her.
