Annie wins at Odds of 33/1 in Clonmel opener
She has always shown ability at home but took a while to come together. She had a nice run the last day and I thought she'd improve out of it and while she was a big price today, we didn't think we were out of the picture. She is a good mare and will move on from this. She is for sale and if she isn't, we'll continue on and is up to Listed class. We are more point to point people but have the odd one for the track. I'd take more for the track if I could get them but point to points are our game buying and selling. That's my third track winner and it was lovely that my cousin Jack rode her. He's heading back to American shortly so he can go back on a winner now.
Rakhine State just prevails in tight finish
His jumping let him down at times but it is nice he won. It is great for his owners who live in New York and have a few horses with us. They are good supporters of the yard and haven't had much luck so it's great to win for them. He is a horse who you'll see running in the north of England soon.
Allaho lands Grade 3 feature at Clonmel
He is a nice horse who disappointed me hugely in a bumper at Christmas, compared to the work he had been doing at home. The form did work out though and he was green at Christmas which was the problem. We saw it again today as he was very green about getting going to win his race. He had been very free throughout the race so to come off a pace like that pulling as hard as he did and pick up, I was very impressed with him. He looks a real chaser in the making and we ran him in that race to see where to go at Cheltenham. Having gone a mile in that race, I thought if he won that the Ballymore could be the race for him because he was very free. He's in that and the Albert Bartlett and he'll go straight to Cheltenham now. Maybe with that race out of his system he might settle better the next day.

Sweeney partners first winner under rules
Mikey is from Cappoquin and works with me full-time. He got plenty of rides on the strength of Ask Heather's point to point win. That has put him on the map and hopefully he can now progress another level to be a top point to point rider. This lad was a cheap little horse. Unfortunately the owner Eileen O'Mahony's brother Tom has died since he bought him so it was a poignant win for the owners and they're delighted he won. He was only a small fun horse and we'll see what the handicapper does. Hopefully he can win another race.
Cusack & O'Regan strike with another Snugsborough
He is a work in progress and can be hard on himself. On the inside track here it is tight and it is hard to make up ground so we said if we jump out fourth or fifth and if he gets there, let him be there and keep filling him. I was delighted with the way he picked up after the last, having got in tight to it. He was entitled to win and he likes a bit of nice ground. He's a nice horse.
