He had been consistent but had wind issues last year and had a number of operations. We brought him back for another one last summer but in fairness to the surgeon he said there was nothing more to take away surgically, so we just tie his tongue down now and hope for the best. We skipped taking on Rule The World (in the Ten Up Chase) at the weekend and it's lovely to win with him. I'd like to aim for something similar next otherwise it'll be a handicap.

Ballychorus earns a crack at 4 miler

I'm delighted with the clear round and she was good. It's great to get her confidence back as they don't always come back from falls. We're thinking of the four miler at Cheltenham and she deserves a shot at it now. I also think she'll be much better on better ground and loved the summer ground last year. She was always going well today.

His jumping can be erratic so your heart would be in your mouth with him. He has a bit of ability though and he'll go for something similar next, over a trip.

Cooper/Gigginstown double up with Respect

The step up in trip helped and he won his point to point on similar ground. He handles winter ground and will go for something similar next. He may be a nice horse in time.

Augustin completes Mullins double in bumper

It looked a competitive race and before the race any of the seven could have won. He was backward behind the bridle last year but is one who could continue to improve. He'd be a great three-mile horse and is very relaxed and stays going very well. He is one who should give his owner plenty of fun and it's probably best to wait and go for a winners' bumper with him next (before going jumping next season).
