He never jumped like that before. I'd say it was due to greenness as he was in front too soon. When he goes up in grade that won't be a problem and he will be alright.

He was very slick in his jumping - so good. He stayed on nicely and is a professional hurdler. He has no trouble with trip over two or three miles but he's probably more of a stayer.

She made a mistake but she got away with it and Paul was good on her. She'll probably go back up in trip and we'll stick to the mares races with her. She's one we're looking forward to this season.

For a young horse he stayed on well. He needed all the assistance (from the saddle) and he got it. Maybe on better ground he could go a bit further.

I didn't expect that. He needed the run the last day. It doesn't look good being last of six but I'd say it was one of the best bumpers at Thurles in quite a while. On this ground I was very worried and I nearly pulled him out. I told Patrick to keep him wide on the best of the ground and he gave him a super ride. I'd delighted for Patrick as he was going to win a point-to-point at Dromahane yesterday but he fell at the last. This horse will be better on nice ground and after that performance he could go for a winners race at Leopardstown.
