Buonarroti another Leading Light?
He jumped and travelled nicely and quickened up well. I thought he would improve a lot from Galway. The lads that ride him at home said he had. He's a nice staying prospect and was impressive.

He likes the ground. We have him about six weeks and we don't know that much about him. We'll see what the handicapper does with him. He was a good horse when younger, but he had lost his way a bit.
Captain Cee Bee delights his connections
You couldn't retire a horse like him. It wasn't as good a race as last year, but he's still showing the right signs. He's something else and he's a class horse. There's not much more you can say about him. It mightn't have been the strongest Grade 2, but it wasn't a bad race. For a horse of his age it's brilliant. I was a tiny bit worried three out, but Mark said there was plenty there and he nearly got there too soon and it turned into a bit of a sprint. If he needed coaxing he'd be a waste of time, but he's like AP [McCoy] and he doesn't want to retire. I'm just so thrilled to win today. We'll take a deep breath now and see what's coming up, but we won't go to the well too often.

Barry was delighted with him and he said he won easy enough. He said he switched off today. He's one of the top horses over fences. There's great opportunities and great prize money so we'll tip away. He'll go to Cheltenham on Friday week for a two and a half mile novice chase. Last year we threw him out for three months in the winter, but we won't do that this year, but he won't be running on the bad ground.
Hat-trick of bumpers for Wicklow Brave
He seems to be better in better races and a fast pace suits him. He's a fair horse and he's improving with every run which is amazing. He handled good ground well, but we don't know about soft ground yet. We'll have to try him on it. I might try and twist dad's arm to get him to run him in Cheltenham in November in a bumper, but he'll probably go hurdling soon.
