That's a bit of a surprise. Her best form has been up to six furlongs and a couple of the lads who rode her weren't sure of her trip,. Kevin gave her a great ride. He dropped her in and kidded her along. He took her back at the start and that suited. He said she did everything well. She travelled and he knew turning in she'd take a bit of beating. Hopefully there is another one in her. She was highly rated. I ran her in a Listed race last year and I suppose you get what you deserve. She's on a realistic mark now.

They are two nice fillies. The winner is well-bred and was bought relatively cheaply at the sales,. I'm glad to get a winning bracket with her and she can continue to step up. I like her as she had a great attitude. It's my second winner for the Goldmine Racing syndicate. The runner-up came in from Dubai and showed nothing out there but looks like she'll win a maiden.

I had to be patient with him as I bought him as a yearling,. I had an unusual request for the handicapper last week. I asked him to put him up 2lb so he wouldn't drop out of the system!. I wasn't going to run as I thought Denny Crane was a certainty. Denny was maybe a bit unlucky but this fellow won fair and square. It's a few weeks since we had a winner so I'm glad to get one. It gets me off the cold list.

With the top two weights coming out he got in here perfectly. He's tough and did it well,. He'll go back for a winners hurdle now on October 2nd at Gowran. I wanted to give him a Flat run in between and thought here wouldn't be too hard on him as he wants nice ground.
