Lace shows heart of Gold
I fancied her first time but she ran green, She worked well last week so I decided to enter her again for this,. I thought she was beaten inside the final furlong but she kept at it. She could go for the (Listed) Marble Hill (Curragh 21st May) next if she's not sold.
Softly books Guineas place
She shows plenty of speed. I ran her today as I thought if she gets seven in that ground she's likely to get a mile,. We'll look at the English or French Guineas for her. She wants good ground.
Coast follows up in style
He's lightly enough raced and seems to be in good form,. He doesn't seem to mind the ground as he won on good last week and heavy today. What happens next depends on the handicapper. He's very versatile trip wise, from six furlongs to a mile.
Dolly grabs Cheka close home
She's a tough filly. I think she's better over a mile than seven and luckily today wasn't six-and-a-half!. I think she could go for a race at Newmarket on Guineas day. There is a four-year-old fillies race there over 1m1f.
Unaccompanied shines as Abbey flops
She's a lovely big genuine mare,. She'll go to Punchestown next providing the ground is not firm. She ran a super race at Cheltenham and it's great to win a stakes race with her. She'll get the summer off after Punchestown and then come back as a dual purpose mare. We'll be looking at races over 1m2f and 1m4f on the Flat. She's got a very big future over jumps.
Ship makes his Mark on debut
He did it nicely and I'm delighted with him. He was drawn badly but travelled well,. He looked a clear cut winner over some fancied horses and we'll look at a Derby trial for him now. Being by Galileo a step up in trip shouldn't be a problem for him.
Samain class act in Rockview
He's probably the best bumper horse in Ireland this year,.
