Mariner all the way in Cork mud
He is a nice horse and Sabrina had to step-up to plate after her first cousin Eddie winning with Captain Cee Bee yesterday. She always had great faith in this horse. I told Mick to take his time but he said that Sabrina had told him to drive on, so what do I know. Sabrina's aunt Rosemary and her husband Richard own and bred the horse but they wouldn't come with me to see him run today.
Mount Helicon lands Cork Grade 3
He'll come back here in December for another three mile novice hurdle. He is a lovely horse and he jumps well. He doesn't want the ground as heavy as that.
Regally-bred Streets is Gold at Cork
Model display from Bowe's Lass
She is tough and she was due that as she has been knocking on the door on her last couple of runs. The ground out there was fine for her as it is only loose on top. She is consistent and tough.
Pack remains unbeaten over fences in Grade 3
Unbelievable, it's better she's gettin. Her jumping is unbelievable and I wouldn't be afraid to go anywhere with her now. That's her third win in over three weeks now so she has done plenty and we'll have to sit down tomorrow and make a plan. To train a graded winner in my 2nd year training is a dream come through. I have about 10 or 12 in at the moment.
The Buck prevails under Splaine
David gave the horse a perfect ride, keeping to the outside for the better ground.
Valleymount looks smart in Cork finale
She'll go for a mares bumper at Navan on Troytown Day as that was a good solid performance there. She didn't get an over-hard race. She travelled well and picked them up easily. If she is as good for her owner (and breeder Tom McParland) as her mammy (Newhall, won six races) she'll be alright.
