Lambe & O'Connell double-up
He has been a little bit tricky to train. He was a high class horse on the flat in his younger days for Ballydoyle. We've trained him a bit differently this year, being a lot easier on him and worked more on sweetening him up. I think it's worked and he'll be a nice horse for the summer.
Flat overcomes last flight peck
He jumped well in the main, he just got in a bit tight to the last.
Lough good enough to score after long break
Posse heads off Deutschland at Sligo
He was off the track for a long time due to a serious injury and he missed most of the season. He'll go chasing now and if the weather were to stay broken he'd go at that job soon. He'll need an ease in the ground, he has schooled and I'm happy with what he's done.
Three up for Diyla at Sligo
That's her third win here, she's won twice on the flat and I thought she'd run well. The way she won there we may have another go over hurdles. Tony gave her a great ride, he stole it really and everything fell into place.
Shaniv steps up on debut effort
We thought he'd improve plenty for the run at Limerick and we were hopeful that he'd turn the tables on Christy's horse (Christy Roche's Silver Canyon fourth whilst Shaniv was 6th in the same race at Limerick). He'll go out to grass now and he should make a nice jumper and he should handle slower ground.
