No Derby winner for Murray but little fish are sweet
We were very happy with him coming here today and he looked fantastic during the week. It took him a few races to find his form this year. He was a bit disappointing this year, it could have been the ground, but he looked fitter and had a good coat on him today. He loves this ground and will keep going for the summer. He could go to Galway.
Townend makes one chance count with Paggane at Kilbeggan
Reserve Judgement makes winning start for Breen
The better ground helped and he’s jumping well,.
Shraheen strikes for Fenton & Moore
He’s his own worst enemy as he normally races with the choke out but today he relaxed a little better. I’m delighted that he’s won a race. He’s a lovely big fella and looks a chaser. Mentally he’s still a little backward but he’ll be a grand horse when he grows up.
Sea Music takes well to fences at Kilbeggan
Mousey Brown gives rivals a trimming
She’s done it well and Paddy said she enjoyed herself. They went a good gallop which suited as she stays well. . She warmed into. She hasn’t run over fences for a while and they come up here quick and fast on the bends. He said she came alive three out. . She’s a consistent mare and has won five now so hopefully it’s onwards and upwards. . She’s a big strong mare and has won on all types of ground. . We’d think about the Midlands National here if she could sneak into it. All she does is gallop and stay.
Far from Dazzling but Dysart gets it done
He’s very green, a big baby and not like his brother (Dysart Dynamo). He was behind the bridle all the way and I was always going to win but he was just very lazy and didn’t switch on into race mode. I think he’ll improve a lot mentally rather than fitness wise and I’d imagine three miles might be more his thing.
