On her first run for Gordon she backed off her hurdles at Gowran and didn't really travel. Sam Ewing was on her that day and said maybe she's like a bit of room (towards the outer) and since she's been ridden like that she hasn't looked back. It’s great that she’s won again. She’s owned by a bunch of local lads, all good friends, who will really enjoy this.

I was always very happy and down to the last he really pricked his ears. He can be a little bit lazy but he measured it up, popped over it and galloped away to the line. I pressed Saint Roi a bit after the fourth-last and tried to get him under pressure early. This lad stays very well so I was always happy that I had him covered. It's been a mixed day but any day you have two winners is a great day. Jack said it rode a proper race. He was foot perfect apart from one down the back that he landed on top of it.
