Going - Good. Overcast
Whelan back in winner's berth with King's
I was expecting a big run and I would have been disappointed if he hadn't been in the first three.
Easy for Fosters & Ruby up North
That was a well-deserved win. His last good run was at Fairyhouse and he didn't disgrace himself since when the ground was gone for him. The better ground here helped. We'll look at Fairyhouse with him now and I think on that ground he'll pick up more money again.
Cooper excels on Symphonist
The key to this horse is a wind operation that he had 138 days ago. He is entered at Aintree for the race after the National, a conditional jockeys handicap hurdle.
Mama takes advantage of light-weight
Alan has ridden her for years and he said that she loved this place. She tends to get dis-interested in her races but she travelled really well today. She is well-handicapped but she doesn't have a lot of ability. We'll look for something similar with her now.
The Snuffler a big result for the Brabazons
I broke my arm at Loughbrickland (a point-to-point) yesterday. Jason gave The Snuffler a great ride and he is a brilliant horse at home . everyone rides him. He won a schooling bumper at Thurles before Cheltenham and he was meant to run before this but his hunter cert wasn't in in time. We were expecting a big run from him today.
Seaneen causes Downpatrick shock
I'm very pleased with her. She didn't quite get home in point-to-points and as she is quite small I think the point-to-points scared her a bit. I have no immediate plans for her.
