This horse is improving and the form worked out well from his win the last day. He is in over the Christmas and he'll probably run at Limerick where he is in with a mandatory penalty. In his point-to-point days I used to have difficulty finding a rider for him as he fell four days in a row.
We are delighted with him, he gave a great battling performance. We'll probably go handicapping rather than for a winners race. Mark gave him a great ride, we were a little bit worried about the ground but he seemed to handle it well. (EM)
Solwhit Fails but Byrnes Steals Show
We got a few quid at 16s this morning. He won a point-to-point and he was going to win another before falling at the last. The step-up in trip helped and he'll go to Limerick now, this day week. (EM)
