The Parthenon builds on Curragh foundations
Kentucky Gal a 40/1 winner on handicap debut
It was a surprise, obviously the good groundbrought improvement but I was still surprised,. I thought that she was a mile plus mare and maybe she still is. I'm hoping to find a good bit more improvement. . I was surprised she could do that over seven but I had nowhere else to run her. She'll be stepped up in distance now and hopefully she'll step up in ability. . She's a fine big filly and is well-bred, she's out of a half-sister to Antonius Pius.
Elinor Dashs home late in fillies handicap
That was very good, she had come down a few pounds,. She was very free in Naas and I decided to put her asleep in the Curragh the last day. We learned a lot from her there over six, the way she came home. I said to Ronny today to put her asleep again today and ride her cold, which he did and she relaxed really well and looks a million dollars. She quickened twice, she quickened to get to them and quickened to go away from them. It was a class ride. The step up helped her, she relaxed a lot today. The Curragh can sometimes light a horse up as it's vast and open but she relaxed really well today. She'll get further and she might go for the big fillies handicap in the Curragh, if not we could look at Galway. She'll be well able to get the hill in Galway. We've plenty to look forward to.

Caffrey scores on first ride for Weld
Adam Caffrey was having his first ride for me and I thought he gave her an excellent ride,. We've got some good apprentices in this country. James Ryan rode a winner for me on Friday night at Fairyhouse and gave the one there a very good ride and Adam Caffrey gave that filly a lovely ride. They are very promising young riders. He rode exactly as we thought the race might pan out. I think jockeyship is excellent. She ran an excellent race in Leopardstown and I thought on that run she'd be hard to beat today. All she had to be was the same filly to win today and she was, she reproduced it perfectly. She's a gorgeous filly, lovely attitude and a very laidback filly. That's probably her right trip, she's a mile-and-a-quarter filly. During the summer hopefully there is another one for her.
