Devastating display from Dysart Dynamo
Hiaou scores for Elliott & Kennedy
he did everything wrong and Jack said he needed a better gallop. The one thing I like about him is he’s gutsy and he couldn’t pull him up after the line. He’s still a big weak horse and I’d say we could step him out in trip. He’ll have a few more runs this year and he could be on the Cheltenham team.
Easy win for Supreme Jet
I’d say he got bogged down in the ground at Limerick - it was very deep, holding ground. He has a nice bit of experience jumping which I thought might be a help to him if we were going to make plenty of use of him. I’d like to think he can go on goodish ground. He’s a good scopey horse and should make a nice chaser.
Must Be Obeyed survives late blunder
I thought the handicapper was very fair to her and she did what we hoped she would do. I don’t know why she ran so flat the last day. I thought all of mine were running just a bit below their best for the last six or seven weeks. If today is anything to go by hopefully they are coming back to where we were. She’s a nice mare that won a bumper and we thought she’d win a maiden hurdle but after getting that handicap mark we thought we’d try and make use of it.
Easy for Olinger with Turner prize in sight
he was really good and Rachael was really happy with him. He jumped great and it was a class race. He’d come on a hell of a lot since Gowran and I think the experience he got there has really stood to him. The second (Capodann) is obviously a good horse and the pair of them have pulled clear. Thankfully our man kept going. The Dublin Racing Festival is the plan subject to ground - there would want to be a good ease in the ground. It seems our best option. It’s three weeks and I think that’s the plan at the moment. He’s got a lot of class and a great attitude.
Whiskey Lullaby sheds maiden tag for Mullins
it was a good opportunity for her and it’s great that she’s won. She had a couple of runs over fences in England and I’m sure she did plenty of schooling with Paul Nicholls. She’s always been a good jumper since we got her. She jumped the last great which was probably the winning of it.
Feyan continues Tyner's winning run
she did it nicely and she seemed to handle the ground well. She’s not an over big mare but she jumps well.
Berry rides first winner
that’s my first winner and my first ride over fences. I ride out three days a week with Henry de Bromhead and three days with Colin Bowe. That was unreal. I thought it would never come and you always have that doubt in the back of your mind. I tried to jump off in front and ended up second or third. Coming down the hill he started to run away again and I knew he was in my hands then. I knew I had him where I wanted.
