Brick By Brick edges Keane upwards
he's done very little wrong but he just kept getting caught but did that well today. I don't where we go with him next, he's a five furlong horse and he loves quick ground. He's very very sharp out of the stalls and I think he'll be better when he gets up into a better class of race; in a better race he might get a lead. Colin said he had company until the last furlong; then he sent him on and he quickened up really well but when he got to the front he just pricked his ears. He really wasn't doing very much so probably in a bit better race they'd take him along more. He has plenty of experience now and he's getting stronger. He's a quick horse and we'll try and find a suitable race. He ran here over six and painfully didn't get it. He might next year but at the moment we'll keep him to five.
'Extra green' Ballydoyle juvenile wins
Muirin looks smart on debut
We have her in the Moyglare and we like the filly, so you are always dreaming about them a bit,. Wayne sat on her a few weeks ago, when we brought her away, and he liked her. She's in the Moyglare and we'll think about it. Obviously Aidan will have six or seven good fillies to run in that. She's a filly we like a lot and she's got something going for her. Her mum was a very good filly for Tracey Collins, Giroutte, so it's not a shock. She's not an orphan and has got a bit of book.

Washington completes Ballydoyle treble
He has a load of ability. He has loads of speed for five but it's just a little bit had to produce him over five,. Over six he has a little bit more time to produce him and wangle him through. He just doesn't want to be in front very long. He's the type of horse we'll have to turn up (everywhere) as he can be unlucky in a race. He loves coming through horse. I wouldn't be ruling York out or Haydock after that.
Snowstar scores for McCreery & Crosse
she's rated 79 and that's a 50-80 race so I said I'd throw her into it because she'll be gone out of that now. The hope was to win and we'll probably head for a Listed race at the end of the month in Tipperary next. The whole thing with these sprinters is teaching them how to sprint and she's learning how to sprint. I thought Nathan gave her a lovely ride and did exactly what I asked him to do as well. The bit of cover helped her a lot. Today she still idled a bit when she hit the front but she put it to bed very quickly. She travels like a sprinter and is improving all the time.
Halford's Vincy wins Curragh finale
he had two runs on the all-weather and is a lovely moving horse. We liked him but I wasn't positive about him on the ground, as it's pretty quick, but he handled it well. It's not too often you get a handicap at the Curragh with single figure runners so it was a nice opportunity to drop him in and get him doing things right. He's a work in progress and he's very tall; he grew a lot after winning in Dundalk and that's why I gave him a break. It's just after taking him a while to strengthen up enough that I was happy to run him. He's a horse with a bit of scope and the plan was to run here and come back for the Cambridgeshire.
