Glory for Bunyan as Age scores
That's my first winner over jumps and only my second runner. He did well to win today for a horse that doesn't handle that ground. I walked the track and it was in the balance whether I would run him or not, but I decided to let him take his chance. He has a big engine and I think he has a future over hurdles and he will make a nice chaser. We will see what the handicapper does with him now.
Double for Townend as Beauty beats Urano
She has always been consistent and she handles the ground nicely. She beat a nice hurdler with more experience (Urano).
Curvacious scores 12/1 upset
she had been running on softer ground that what she wants and at Punchestown the last day it was very testing. She'll be kept on the go now as long as the ground doesn't become too quick.
Moon eases to feature race success
He got twelve pounds for winning over hurdles last year and he failed to reproduce that form. I'm beginning to think he is better running fresh. The Galway Festival will be his Gold Cup and he will either run in the Amateur Handicap on the Monday or the Galway Hurdle. He might also run in the Ascot Stakes. He would have a five week break before Galway if he ran there and he might get in off 86.

he has been disappointing over fences but that will have done his confidence a lot of good.
Well backed Turn wins easily
He only came to hand in the last month and his rider was a big help. He is very green and he improved a tonne from the last day. He is a big backward type. He is entered in Tipperary on Thursday but we will get today out of the way first. The ground wasn't soft enough for him today.
The Winkler an apt winner of the last
He got no run in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper and he got murdered everywhere. He will be put away now and will come back around Listowel time for a winners bumper. All he'll do is improve. He was bought as a replacement for The Fonze, hence the name (actor Henry Winkler played the role of The Fonze in Happy Days).
