Rambling Rake shows his potential
He's a grand horse and did it well from an outside draw. Billy Lee said he was fairly green and should improve nicely. Seven furlongs is his trip. He will step up to stakes company next.
Berry guides Inishmot Duchess home
She travelled well. I was hoping the ground wasn't too quick for her. The slower the ground the better. She'll go for something similar.
Inxile never headed
He'll have next weekend off and go to the Curragh for the Group 3 Sapphire Stakes on Derby day. Then he'll go for the Nunthorpe Stakes and the Prix de l'Abbaye. He's a tough horse and we decided to give Ascot a skip and we have got two wins as a result of that. Adrian [Nicholls] gave him a great ride as he can be bloody keen but he locked him away in front. He only has two speeds; zero and flat out! He also has to be led down early. The time of 58.64 seconds was a good time on rain-softened ground.
Banimpire outclasses her rivals
We were delighted with that. She did it really well. She got the mile and four furlongs with no problem. Kevin said she hardly had a race. The Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot next Thursday is still very much on the agenda.
Back Burner fulfils his promise
Condon keeps his good run going
The ground is riding good. We would have been in trouble if it had been soft. We would have taken him out if the forecast rain had materialised. He has had two wind operations and like a lot of horses who have had wind problems his form is on better ground. He won by the skin of his teeth. Shane Foley is an excellent lad and his riding is first-class.
