Auvergnat leads home a 1-2-3 for 'banker' Bolger & McManus
that's out little lot done now before Cheltenham. Whether our lads are good enough to handle the likes of Cause Of Causes, I don't think so, but we don't know what will turn up - Auvergnat is still relatively young as well. There is nothing we can do, only win, so I'm happy with that. Cheltenham is the plan for the first two and Cantlow (a non-runner from today's race) also - Cantlow just gave a little cough this morning and we had him primed for his run. He'll go straight to Cheltenham and he loves it there and the drier ground suits him too. We're happy, it's job done, and we'll freshen them up now and maybe have a couple of days to the seaside and things.
Cup hero flying as Sparrow bags another win
he tries and he's a tough little fella. He looked beaten in Limerick and he came back and it was the same again today. He jumped well on the whole, he missed a couple here and there, but he'll come on. I'm delighted for all the lads and he's a fun horse for them going forward. He should stay further as well and we'll see how he comes out of it and look for something in a month or six weeks. He could go up in trip or even a stronger run race would probably suit him and JJ was delighted with him.

O'Regan discards sick note and returns with Wood winner
things didn't do quite right for him last year. He was a bit immature and our horses were a little bit under the weather so he was probably off a nice mark there today. Where'll see where he goes after this, we have no major plans for him. He jumps grand and will handle a bit better ground as well. He's nice and I'd say he'll win plenty of races all being well.
Gilgamboa beats younger rival in hunters' clash
that was a proper race and the young horse (Burning Ambition) served it up to him. He was second last year in the Fortria Chase in Navan and it was a Grade 2, so that rules him out of Cheltenham this year so we'll probably go to the Tetratema next and then on the Liverpool Foxhunters. soft ground is important to him and he's a grand horse to have.
Folsom wins second National Trial for ATR presenter
Gary (O'Brien) was responsible for buying him, he picked him out at the sales (for 21,000GBP last September) so it's great. He's a great honest horse and we sent him to England last week and they went no gallop (when finishing fourth). It was a bit of a worry coming back a week later. He kind of jammed on at the last but other than that Jack said he jumped well. He said if he had something with him he would have jumped the last better but it worked out great and everyone is happy. He'll go for the Irish National now.
