Discipline puts manners on Gowran rivals

She's a very athletic filly and handles that ground well,. She's a filly that we hope to get black-type with during the year and we may look at a Guineas trial with her. She was a very immature filly as a two-year-old. She wintered well and done well. She's effective on that ground as her brother (Famous Name) was.

He did it well. He was a fit horse, knew his job and the draw (stall three) was a big help,. He came on from the run at the Curragh and handles that ground.

Quick follow up from Niven

It's relief more than anything as I did exactly the opposite from what I said on Thursday when I was talking about giving him a chance after that run,. He came out of the race very well and hasn't left a nut. We jogged him up yesterday and this morning and he was as good as gold. He handles that ground very well. We're delighted. He's a very reliable horse and they'll have great fun with him. We'll definitely give him a few weeks off now and see what the handicapper does. He's a nice big horse.

Near 12/1 treble for Weld and Smullen

It was a trappy little race. She did it well and battled well,. We'll try and find a winners' of one for her. For mile-and-a-half horses they cantered around and it turned into a three furlong sprint which wasn't ideal.

Leonard is the Boy in form

I suppose he's due a break now!. He loves the soft ground and that's why he ran today as the ground is going to dry out at some point. Thankfully it stayed nice for us. If the ground changes he'll go on a break for the summer. If it stays like that we might keep him going but if not he'll go out to grass and hopefully be back for Listowel.

Toe The Line "back to herself"

It looks like she's back to herself. She seemed to handle the ground and surprised me by being able to handle it,. I'd say we'll wait for the Vintage Crop now and if she's not good enough for that she'll go hurdling.
