Champion performance from Woodland Opera in PWC Chase
Robbie said the couple of runs over hurdles have sharpened him up a lot,. He went three miles the last time so Robbie said 'I can jump out and make it and make them come to me'. I said you were very brave at the last and he said 'I didn't know how near they were'. I said to him 'if you'd fallen you were going to go from here to Carlow before you stopped'. We'll keep him going, I'm not sure quite where, as long as the ground is good. I haven't a clue where he'll go as I didn't exactly expect to win this. He'll get a break during the winter and will go out. I made him run all through the winter as a younger horse and now I'm getting sense. He'll go three miles on that ground because he wasn't stopping today.

Cecil makes it 2 for Elliott at Gowran
He's a grand honest horse and Denis gave him a peach of a ride,. We used to think he wasn't getting three miles and then ran him over two and he looked like he wanted further. Denis gave him a good ride and I'd say he loved the ground. He wins a race or two every year in fairness to him. When the rain comes and ground goes soft it would be a worry for him but he has his job done now so it's grand.
Oh Me Oh My Mitchouka falls for shock in Gowran finale
It was a bit of luck but they have to jump though,. She got a couple of heavy falls last year and we did a lot of schooling with her. Ian Power, the ex jockey, has been schooling her. We've just been trying to get her into the bottom of them and come up because when she was getting tired she was throwing herself at them. It's worked and she's had a bit of luck. She's been working well, I don't know how she'd have run if they'd have stayed up, but she's been working well in the last two weeks. We're not going to give it back anyway!. There is a mares novice chase in Thurles at the end of the month, a black-type race, and we might go for that. I'm not sure about this ground but sure we took a chance.
