French import Texard takes "a bit of time" but now a winner
On ratings he was entitled to go close and he had plenty of experience but just wasn't finishing out his races that well. We said we'd ride him from the front and try to keep filling him and filling him,. Some of these horses that come from France just take a bit of time and I was happy with him there and he seemed to love that ground. It was a good performance and Jack said he was happy enough (when Carrigmoorna Pine fell) but said he couldn't say whether or not he'd still have won. The second last is a long way from the line at Cork. We'll look for something small again next. He wears three-quarter shoes in front as he clips himself and both front shoes are the same.
63/1 Cork double for Elliott and Kennedy
We were probably lucky as Peter Fahey's horse (Belfast Banter) was probably gone for home but he is a nice little horse and is improving with every run and his jumping has got a lot better,. He had a good run one day in a flat maiden at Roscommon and didn't jump great on his first couple of runs. The more runs he's getting the better his jumping is getting. The lads will have a good bit of fun with him and he is a dual-purpose horse.
3 from 3 at Cork for Elliott at 182/1
He is a nice big horse and is a big chaser. That's our first runner for the McNeill family so it's nice to start off on a good note and we think we have a nice bumper horse as well,. He was bought to be a big chaser and whatever he does this year is only a bonus. He is still raw and Adrian said that if he winged the last he'd probably have won well but he did what he just had to do. We'll keep it (plans) small.

Staying test suits as Deilginis wins on 3rd chase start
She is a nice staying mare and loves soft ground. She is a funny one because she always hits a flat spot in her races but she comes home well. It looked like she was maybe in trouble at the last one down the back but JJ said her jumping kept her in it all the way,. The conditions of the race were perfect - well I'd have put another half mile on it maybe, and the soft ground was a big help to her. She can go for a handicap chase up in trip next - she might be higher rated over fences than hurdles after that but probably not by much.
1099/1 Cork 4-timer for Elliott
It has been a great day, four winners. He was probably going to be second the last day when he fell at the last but I'd say the blinkers woke him up today so it was grand,. He is a big horse and now that he has got his head in front he might win again. He had a few niggly problems and it mightn't have been the strongest race in the world but he won so it was great.
Lalor's Carrigeen breeding produces another good one
She is a nice mare and just gallops. She came on some amount from the first run to the second run and I thought she had improved again. Today was a tougher test and there were a few alright mares in it so we thought we might be up against up it,. We are keen to hold on to her as she is the last of the Jeremys and has such a good pedigree but if somebody came up with money you couldn't refuse we'd sell. She is definitely capable of black-type and she is a nice mare who we like a lot.
