Walsh conjures late charge from Successor
Sassie gets Nolan back on track
She will go for something similar now again. She is a four-year-old and is from a fantastic family. It's great to have the win under her belt now for broodmare purposes. Hopefully she'll improve, she is exposed enough. Her owners (the Brownes) are the salt of the earth, they are fantastic people and I can’t say enough good about them. Davy was fantastic on her, he is one of the best. It was just an exceptional ride. They went very quick and Davy just done a brilliant job on her.
Kidder takes his chance at Wexford
Nellie gets a deserved win to her name
She was always the bridesmaid and never the bride. It was long overdue, and it was just a case of finding a race for her and we found it today. She enjoyed herself out there today. She is a clean, quick and efficient jumper. She is in winners company now so life might bit a little bit more difficult for her now. She has enough scope to jump a fence as well, but she will stay over hurdles for the present. She just about got away with the ground, she likes a cut in it. She wasn't letting herself down fully on it. I won't be going to Cheltenham with her anyway! We'll get today over first and we'll plan after that. Cathal gave her a great ride. He is a super chap and great value for seven pounds. He deserves a lot of credit and has been a terrific help to me. Only for him I couldn't manage. He is a lad that deserves every opportunity he gets. I'm as delighted for him as I am for myself.!
A Rated lands Wexford feature
Barry thinks he might improve a bit still. He done it fairly well and will probably head to Listowel now,. There is a two mile four novice for him there and I think that will be where he runs next if everything is alright with him in the morning. He likes that type of ground and I'd say that is the type of ground he wants. We will probably run him no matter what way the ground comes up in Listowel.
Massini's benefits as Molly crashes out
Phillip (Enright) said he would have kept galloping away anyway.
Force back on form for Hennessy
He deserved that. I think he has been second four or five times this year,. Unfortunately he got the better of Jack Kennedy on Monday at Downpatrick and the ground went against him there too. We said we'd give him a chance on the good ground here today. It's great for the horse, he is absolutely loving racing at the moment. I have never seen a horse to get better as he gets really older. Five years ago he wouldn't even jump a fence but now he loves it. He doesn't live in a stable and is out twenty-four seven for the last two years. He had a bit of a lung issue and burst a couple of times, but now he is living out and he seems to be happier. Two miles is his trip. We will just tip away with him over fences now. The handicapper kind of has him over hurdles, and we'll see what he does with him now. As long as the ground stays good we will keep tipping away with him. It's great for the lads who own him, he is after winning nine races for them now. He is a great syndicate horse.
