Friendless Ms collars the favourite
She'd a good run in Clonmel but then the ground for a bumper in Gowran was too sticky. She was gutsy today, and the only one she missed was the last. It was getting a bit competitive, and she may have been a bit unsighted.
Thebarrowman now three from three
That's as short as he wants, and Davy said he may have gone a gear too slow. He's a real chaser in the making. We may have a look at Punchestown for the three-mile novice.
Chimneys follows-up to deny favourite Brian
Two miles seems to be his trip and, while the ground is soft, he'll go for another one of those. He's also handicapped over fences, so that gives us another option.
Heathfield records first win over hurdles
He won a few nice races at the end of last season but has taken a while to come this year. He's a lot lower over hurdles than he is over fences. There are plenty of choices at Punchestown for him in staying races.
Smashing performance in Webster Cup
Harry comes from last to first under Power
Puppy (Robbie Power) said he was never happy. He was flat out but he felt they went so fast that they would come back to him eventually. I was delighted with how he battled, and he's in such terrific form at the moment. I want to get him to Punchestown as his owner, Jules Sigler, is from Canada and goes there every year. It would be great to have a runner for him there.
Theatre makes all under McKeown
I was in two minds whether to run her or not. Jason gave her a good enterprising ride. She stayed three miles well in a point-to-point, and he put that to good use. I was going to put her over hurdles but we may think about the Listed mares bumper at Punchestown now.
