Transcendental comes out on top in dramatic sprint handicap
Down in grade and they went good and fast which suited her fine. Robbie was good on her, he was nice and patient and when she hit the rising ground she stayed on well. I was a little bit concerned that the five might be a bit sharp, but it is a stiff five here and there was loads of pace in it which helped.
Camille Pissarro makes favourable impression on debut
Givemethebeatboys returns with Listed win in Committed Stakes
He toughed it out well. He did everything wrong in a way because he was free early on, took a blow at the furlong pole and Shane had to wait for him. The other horse (Betsen) had had a run, and he will be much better for that. That will sharpen him up a lot. He was good with the penalty on him. He got rolling again and was always going to get there. He'll go to Naas now and then the plan is the Commonwealth Cup.
Ezeliya enters Oaks picture after Salsabil success
I thought she would run a big race and she did. It was a very true run Group race and they went a real good gallop for a mile and a-quarter. Chris took his time on her. He planned to sit a little bit closer but the pace they were going he waited. I loved the way she attacked the hill and saw her race out well. Better ground will suit her better. It is a lovely family - a good, tough family and I think she will get a mile and a-half. She is a Group 1 filly - lots to look forward to.
Unavoidable another winner for Donnacha
He did it very well to be fair to him. He's a lovely big horse and just took plenty of time to come to himself. He has a big frame so I thought he would be a bit green today, and he probably was, but he toughed it out. Nice to win first time. He doesn't have a whole pile of experience, so I'd say he just got a little bit lonely when he got there. The other horse (Rock Of Ireland) seemed to fight back as well. He'll be a lovely horse going forward, hopefully. Yes, no problem (stay 1m4f). I think ground is probably important enough to him. He's a real nice mover, so I'd say quick ground is probably important to him. We will look for some kind of winners' race now and see where he stands.
Kyprios back in the winning groove in Vintage Crop
Delighted with him this year, great to get him back. Ryan gave him a lovely, uncomplicated ride. Wayne (Lordan on Queenstown) set a lovely, even pace and he kept taking him. I couldn't be happier really. When he gets there he doesn't do much and that is the way he is, but he was travelling very easily all the way. Everything is good so far - the plan was to come here, go to Leopardstown (Saval Beg) and go to the Gold Cup. He is a lovely horse to have.
Nostra Casa has Festival options after third career win
Dylan just said that he didn't help him because he doesn't like being boxed in and obviously with the draw, it was hard to get out. He probably likes a bit heavier ground. The boys like Galway and we will try and get into Galway this year, we missed it with a cut last year. He won in Thurles last year over two miles, so we have the option of the two-mile race in Galway. We'd love to get into the amateur race in Galway, but I think Dylan wants to keep him below and go another way!. The next race coming up is probably Killarney. There's a valuable race in Hamilton and I might go over there.
Boher Road shows rivals a clean pair of heels in finale
He sees out 1m5f, he sees out 2m. He has won over 2m1f over hurdles. He is a horse that likes to get his own way - he dictates to the jockey instead of the jockey to him. We just play along with him. He was running a cracker the last day (in Fairyhouse) until he decided to do what he did. I don't know what got into his head - he has a tendency to jump a bit right, but that was just completely out of character for him. He enjoyed that today and it is his second win on the track, so he obviously likes it. Ronan said that trip is fine and the way he finished out you wouldn't object to running him over two mile on the Flat either. He's a little bit hit or miss, but he is a very good horse.
