he’s tough and Ambrose knows him well and gave him a super ride. He deserved that. It is probably best to put a line through the run at Punchestown as they didn't go fast enough early, and he didn't even have a blow after it. It's good to get that win and we'll have to have a think now about where we go next.

at Wexford we dropped him in and he didn't like it and I think he sulked. Robert let him on today, the same as when he won at Cork, and he stayed going. He's as tough as old boots and is a chaser in the making. The owners (Flyers Syndicate, from Monaghan) are a great bunch of lads and really enjoy their racing.

they went some gallop and I thought they went too fast. He's not 100% fit yet but he had enough to get there. He might go to Leopardstown (for the Lexus) if the ground stayed right for him - I’ll have to talk to Chris (Jones, owner) but we are taking it one step at a time.
