Mr Lando in shop window
He's a lovely dual-purpose horse who goes on any ground and he's for sale [runs in his wife Kate's colours]. He's jumped well at home and has done plenty of good schooling.
Rattan much too good for his rivals
He's a great servant to the stable and is very consistent. He takes his racing very well. We thought the ground was a bit of a worry, but he handled it well. There should be something for him at Listowel and he'll jump a fence in time.
Littletown Lass battles on well
She loved the ground and we may head to Listowel.
Lady Olwyn turns up the form book
I'm delighted for Mick McQuade [from the Glasvale Syndicate]. He has been very loyal and is a very good owner, but has not had much luck with me. She's in foal. I'm not sure whether that made a difference or not. I decided to get her really fit and have one go. She's in at Sligo again on Tuesday, but that may be a big ask for her after that race.
Alf Wright does it all right
He disappointed a bit on his last two runs over hurdles, but we were always hoping he would make a better chaser. He won his point-to-point and that experience was a big help. We had a bit of a quiet patch and it's great to get a winner especially at Tramore.
Revenge is sweet for Bishop's Lane
We rode him more forcefully at Roscommon and we decided to take our time with him today and it has paid off.
Impressive Great Jones gives Mullins double
He showed lots of gears at home, but on his pedigree we weren't sure that he would stay [by Johannesburg]. He obviously stays and should be a real fun horse. On pedigree we thought he would like good ground. I'd say he's a fair horse. He could possibly go for a winners' bumper. He has a bit of size about him and he'll probably jump a fence in time
