Rachael gave him a great ride because he's an awkward fella. He jumped a bit better today and Rachael had to be strong on him. I'm delighted to get him to win his maiden and he'll probably step into handicap company now.

He ran well enough here the last day in a good race (when fifth in the Galmoy Hurdle) but I'd say coming back in trip was a help to him and he likes soft ground,. Barry gave him a good ride, he kept him in the race without forcing him too much. I guess we'll stick to these kind of graded races as he's too high really for handicaps. He could have a shot at a Grade One later in the year. These are probably the races for him and we'll be sticking to soft ground as much as we can with him.

That was good. Over two miles on good ground it just all happened a bit quick for him the last day. He went up in trip today and the bit of juice in the ground helped him too. Rachael gave him a lovely ride. He's an improving horse. Last year he didn't show much in bumpers but he did well on his winter's break and improved. He's a nice staying type of horse. We'll see what the handicapper does now.

His run the last day put him in the position that he could do that,. That should leave him right for next month. I think that type of distance would be far enough for him.
Reach Up a significant winner for Quinlan
He's a nice horse. I was cross with the handicapper for giving him 114 but I better talk nice to him now in case he puts him up again. He's a lovely horse and we'll go for a nice novice chase with him now. I need another one coming along as Kylecrue isn't getting any younger. Ciaran Brady, who played football for Cavan, bought a half share in him a few weeks ago and this is the first horse he has owned.
Daylight Katie different class in mares' bumper
She's a nice filly — we think she's smart. She'll be entered in the Cheltenham bumper and the mares' bumper at Aintree and probably more than likely we'll go to Aintree all being well.
