Clear-round for Campeador as Donoghue gets off the mark for J.P.
He was the best horse in the race there and that made it a lot easier for him as I didn't have to ask him a whole lot. I was delighted to get the ride. It's nice to get on a horse like him as he has plenty of ability. I knew if he got round he'd win. Keith gave him a great ride and he jumped very well.
Enright returns to winners' enclosure
he jumped and stayed. He appreciated that trip today and he probably wants three miles at this stage of his career. He'll go for something similar and he might get an entry in the Thyestes or something like that. He'll go up a bit after that and there's not much else for him.
Blackmore steers Havingagoodtime to 25/1 surprise win
I'd love to tell you that I thought that was going to happen but it was a bit of a surprise. She ran very well the last day and also ran well in Gowran where she didn't jump a hurdle. She's a big raw filly that we bought as a yearling and I'm delighted for the Wilde At Heart Syndicate who leased her. I thought her last run was good but when you see a 3/10 shot we would have been very happy to be placed. She got a super ride. She was up there the whole way and saw it out well from the last. We'll go back on the Flat with her next summer, we were always going to do that. There were just very few staying races for three-year-olds. She'll focus on hurdling at the moment and she seems to love it.
Fahy's festival winner fends off Fairyhouse rivals, Grade 1 next
what more could he do. He was a good horse last year and it was just a matter of him coming back and showing it. He did nothing wrong last year. He just had one run where he starting to thrive, I was delighted watching the weight going on but he blew up in the Grade 2 at Leopardstown. Other than that he's never let us down really. He was going to win today regardless of what happened at the last and he will come on from the run. I'm happy to have that out of the way. He's not just a big old jumper, he can flick them as well. We have him in the Grade 1 at Naas in January and we might have enough time between now and then. That seems a nice gap. I can't wait for him to go chasing. We schooled him as a three-year-old because he was going point-to-pointing, upsides handicappers and he was putting them away — he was unreal.
Clementina gets off the mark, 'jolly' unlucky
Tony put a tongue-tie on her today, she wasn't finishing out her races. She was coming there travelling well but not finding a whole lot off the bridle.Today with the tongue-tie she picked up well and went on. Tony warned me not to hit the front until the last and I do what he says. He likes them to come late, I sat as long as possible and she picked up, thank-God.
Moore on the mark with improving Brosna George
he's going the right way and I suppose he'll have to carry on for another while over hurdles. He jumps like he wants fences. He's just a nice genuine horse and at this age he's improving. We'll keep him going once the ground doesn't get too heavy and he takes his races very well. As I said before, I rode a winner for Gerry Cullen (owner) about a hundred years ago! I've had a good few winners for him over the years and he's always been involved in the yard. He's a lovely man and it's always a great pleasure to have a winner for him. We could look at one of the Pertemps qualifiers with him but I doubt he'd get into one, he'd need to go up again.
