Miss Manzor leads home one-two for Mullins in opener
Saddle Her Up off the mark for Fitzgerald
She had a great run in Leopardstown (fourth), I dropped her back two furlongs and she stayed it perfect today and Sean gave her a lovely ride. She can be a bit keen and she has to make the running but today she settled in behind the front-runner, relaxed from there and did everything right. She ran well in Galway and she was fourth behind Ballyburn, although well beaten. Dropping back into mares maiden hurdle, that's her level. Hopefully she'll go on and do a bit more for the owner. Clodagh is from Fermoy, she's no relation.
Mint Boy a sweet winner over three miles
He maybe needed the line a bit there, but three miles suits him - he stays well. We'll see what the handicapper does and maybe look for something similar. It was a good run the last time and it's nice to win here.
Mullins and Townend double up with Uncle Phil in feature
Hunters Yarn puts seal on a Mullins/Townend treble
Intense Raffles one for Gibney, Munir and Souede
That was the dream start. The race really suited and we thought he was on a fair mark on his early French form. It was nice,. It's great to get the horse to start with and I'm just delighted to have one for them.
Elliott maps out Cheltenham for expensive-acquisition Romeo Coolio
He's a good horse. It was a messy race as they went no gallop. I missed a bit of time with him a month or two ago and he's having a proper blow, he's going to come on a lot from it. If I didn't come here I had to go to Navan, there aren't a lot of races for him going forward and I wanted to get a run into him. On the day probably 80 per cent of mine ran below par so I was nervous going into the race, but I think he's a proper horse. It's all about the future with this horse, whatever he does this year is only going to be a bonus â I think he's a real one. The boys (KTDA Racing) are big supporters of the yard and they flew over from England today, so I'm delighted to get them a winner. He'll go straight to Cheltenham now. I'm not worried about today, the race was very messy and it didn't work out. They went no gallop and he's a big galloping horse. He's a stayer. Harry said he didn't do a stroke when he got to the front. It's one of those days, I didn't think we had too many that were going to win but at the same time we had one or two run disappointing. That's the game we're in and I've had worse days.
